An Atlas Copco CC 3300 U combi crusher mounted on a Cat 365 BL with a 33 m high reach boom was used during the demolition of a 44 m feed silo in Plochingen, Germany. The top two floors of the structure were demolished using two 5 tonne mini-excavators and then the Cat moved in. It operated on a 3 m high work platform. The demolition contractor, GL-Abbruch, has been briefed to carry out the demolition as quickly and efficiently as possible with the minimum environmental impact possible.
