Alimak names new industrial division VP

Vertical access specialist Alimak Group has appointed Jens Holmberg as the new Executive Vice President of its Industrial division.

Ole Kristian Jødahl, CEO Alimak Group, said, “I am very happy to welcome Jens Holmberg to Alimak Group. Jens brings a robust skill set encompassing strategy, leadership, go-to-market planning, operational excellence, M&A, and driving impactful business growth in a global arena.”

Holmberg, who will take up the position on 1 September, 2023, joins the company after serving almost ten years at mining and crushing and screening equipment manufacturer Sandvik.

During his time at Sandvik, Holmberg held numerous roles including that of vice president of sales development for the Americas and, most recently, that of division president for rock tools within the company’s mining and rock solutions division.

Holmberg, who started his career at truck manufacturer Scania in 2006, also spent almost three years working as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, prior to joining Sandvik.

Speaking of his new role at Alimak, which will also see him become part of the company’s Group Leadership Team, Holmberg said, “I really look forward to joining the Alimak Group team.

“It is a customer centric and driven organisation with a strong product portfolio and market position. I believe that my experience can further support the strong growth path the business is already on.”
