MCS Rental Software on show at Bauma

10 October 2022

Rental software supplier MCS Software is to exhibit at Bauma for the first time later this month; MCS Software Managing Director Guy van der Knaap confirmed via a media statement that the company will be using its presence at the show to showcase recently introduced features.

These include its new third-party transport solution, which enables rental companies to work with external haulage providers who can use a mobile device instead of relying on paper-based forms.

“Transport drivers can now use a mobile device to complete digital proof of deliveries and obtain signatures and site photographs, all instantly available back in MCS-rm, reducing the time spent waiting for paperwork to return to the office. van der Knaap said.

“Historically, a barrier for rental companies delivering a smooth rental process was the lack of visibility once the equipment has been handed over to third-party haulage providers. With the new mobile app, third-party drivers can now deliver and collect equipment while removing paper from the process. We have had a great response to this latest feature in MCS-rm, with many of our clients calling this a real game-changer in how they can do business.”

MCS will also showcase its core offering at Bauma, namely the ability to integrate with various third-party financial, telematics, and marketing providers.

“Alongside its integration capabilities, MCS gives hirers the ability to manage and service equipment, digitise the picking process with mobile check-in and check-out and even take advantage of business intelligence and dashboards.

“Resource planning is also revolutionised with the ability to plan efficient driver routes for deliveries, collection and servicing.

A client of MCS Rental Software, Sunbelt Rentals, said MCS’ offering had “played a pivotal role in our company’s success.”

“MCS has helped us to gain control and visibility of our critical business operations and enabled us to adapt in an increasingly complex market.”

Van der Knaap said; MCS Rental Software allows our clients to quickly and easily manage their equipment and assets, take advantage of the power of mobile apps and web solutions, manage own and third-party transport solutions, monitor stock control and more.

“We pride ourselves in offering our customers the ability to manage their entire business, all within the MCS solution.”
